I’ve always been passionate about creating visual designs for individuals and community visions to life. From a young age, I found myself drawn to colors, shapes, and the way they evoke emotions and narratives. This fascination led me to explore Media Arts, Video Game Design, and eventually Graphic Design and Illustration.My creative process is deeply inspired by understanding the personality and values of my clients. I believe that design reflects the essence of the individual or company it represents. Rather than drawing inspiration from a single source, I seek to extract ideas from a multitude of influences, weaving them together to craft a brand that truly embodies uniqueness and individuality. I’m committed to improving my skills and experimenting with new design trends to ensure my work is fresh and innovative.I’m currently based in Vancouver, BC, Canada – known for its scenic views and rainy weather. Out of office, you’ll find me trying out trendy foods, browsing for books at Chapters, listening to new music, attending art conventions, exploring museums and exhibitions!

Professional Design Process: Utilizing research & analysis; mastering sketching to iterate on ideas quickly, and exercising design rationale.Core Technical Toolset: Understanding and applying industry-standard toolsets, such as Vector Graphics (Adobe Illustrator), Raster Graphics (Adobe Photoshop), and Layout & Publishing (Adobe InDesign).Design Theory & Visual Language: Understanding Typography (anatomy of type and hierarchy), Colour Theory (psychology of color, and technical difference between RGB and CMYK), Visual Composition (applying design elements and fundamentals to create a pleasing composition).Digital & Branding Specialties: Understanding UI/UX Fundamentals (designing apps or websites), Brand Identity (creating cohesive systems such as logos, business cards, style guides), Web Design (basics of HTM/CSS and how design translates to a browser).

Please read them carefully.

Conditions

➜ I do not permit requests to copy another artist/designer's work or use my work for AI.
➜ Any commissions featuring characters/designs owned by people other than the client will require permission from all parties, no exceptions.
➜ Do not make any big edits to my art and design in any circumstances. If you want an edit, let me do it for you.
➜ I have the right to refuse commissions if I deem the request too uncomfortable to work on, or if a client refuses to cooperate or exhibits rude/disrespectful behaviours.

Designer & Client Responsibilities

➜ Provide clear and comprehensive feedback.
➜ Supply any necessary references required for the commission.
➜ Communicate in a timely manner to ensure commission progression.

Design Process

The standard timeline usually takes 4 weeks, but the process may depend on the complexity of the project.
➜ Week 1 - Concept Phase: Research & mood board; Concept Development; Selection of preferred concept
➜ Week 2 - Refining Phase: Client feedback, Round 2 revisions
➜ Week 3 - Final Review: Round 3 revisions (if needed); Client feedback; Final approval
➜ Week 4 - Delivery: Final preparation & delivery.
➜ Clients are allowed to request 2 revisions/changes.
➜ Major changes after the refining phase may incur an extra fee of $20.
➜ It is the client’s responsibility to review and approve works, providing constructive feedback in a timely manner.

Illustrative Process

➜ I will provide a rough sketch 3-5 days after payment [Concept Phase].
➜ I will provide a revision 3-5 days after rough sketch approval [Refining Phase].
➜ I will provide a preview 3-5 days after revision review [Final Phase].
➜ Clients are allowed to request 2 revisions/changes.
➜ Major changes after the refining phase may incur an extra fee of $10.
➜ It is the client’s responsibility to review and approve works, providing constructive feedback in a timely manner.

Copyright & Usage

➜ I retain the copyright to all original artworks created, and to include the work in a portfolio and for promotional purposes.
➜ You are granted to use the artwork for personal use, but keep in mind to use proper credits.
➜ Monetization & commercial licenses are available to purchase before submitting your request.
➜ If you prefer that the commission not be showcased in my portfolio or used for promotional purposes, you can request a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) by paying a privacy fee.

Preparation & Delivery

➜ Preparation for screens: JPEG/PNG, color profile in RGB, High resolution of 300 dpi.
➜ Preparation for prints: PDF, color profile in CMYK, High resolution of 300 dpi.
➜ If you want the design completed by a certain deadline there may be an extra fee of $10. Please let me know before you submit your request.
➜ Estimated delivery time is 2-3 days after the FINAL phase (may vary depending on the commission).
➜ Delivery will mainly be through VGen or Email.

Payment Terms

➜ A 50% deposit payment is required before work begins unless otherwise agreed upon.
➜ A 50% final payment is required 3 days before delivery.
➜ Full-payment is required on Illustrative services only.
➜ All payments are through VGen Payment.

Refunds & Cancellations

➜ Refunds are not available for completed work.
➜ Cancellations and full refunds are accepted within 3 days after deposit payment.

Communication

➜ All communication should occur through the VGen message platform OR Email.
➜ If you prefer to communicate on social platforms (i.e. Discord or Instagram) please let me know ahead of time.
➜ Allow a few hours to a day for replies.

Delays

I am not liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond my control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or any other unforeseeable events. Clients will be informed of any delays as soon as possible.

Liability

➜ I am not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from the use of my artwork.
➜ Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any images provided for reference.
